Hey Ty, curious what you think about the hit from behind on Chris Tanev shortly before Boston's second goal was scored? I live in Vancouver, so I heard a lot of that side's view tonight.

disappointing game, Bruins played a bunch of pansies and ended up playing like pansies. Not putting it on Tuukka, but the better goaltender won that game last night.

for a "master of the matchups" CJ seems to be pooping the bed at home this year with his matchups.... better on the road, maybe he should just concede to letting the other teams going last and just putting lines out there. may also help is he could leave some form of line together to get some chemistry. i get that's hard with injuries but it seems every game he's got a new combination out there.

did joonas play last night?

The Canucks goaltending is winning them games they have no business winning, which is unfortunate from a fans perspective when we know they have no chance if they should happen to make the playoffs in the weakest division in hockey.

Zac Trotman had a pretty rough night. I wouldn't think at the NHL level you should be puck chasing in your own end. Left his man Sedin wide open on the GWG.

What is really scary is that Boston lost to a team where the combined experience of all 4 centers was only 266 NHL games. Horvat, at 115 games is the "vet" of the group. McCann, as 1C, had 42 games behind him.
And that was enough to fell the fearsome Bruins.

I'm impartial to the 2 teams, but if you enjoyed watching that hit you're definitely what is wrong with the game. The pre-game ceremony honoured Denna Lainge, who suffered a serious spinal injury and faces potentially permanent paralysis. You watched that, then saw someone gets run from behind in a way that could have had the same result, and thought it was funny? You're definitely earning the reputation that Boston sports fans have for being obnoxious.

Yeah well every time a Bruin (frank)ing sneezes near someone who goes down there's a poopstorm of people coming to our thread to tell us how we are terrible people and such. This is an old hat for us, we just don't care what anyone thinks anymore

Anyone watch the game on Sportsnet?

Don't know them outside of John Garrett and Doug MacLean, but what a bunch of clowns!

Am I the only one who loves Jack and Brick? They are actually entertaining. So many teams' announcers are so boring. I think it was the Devils announcers I fell asleep to. The St. Louis guys too were brutal, watched them for five minutes during the Detroit game.

Yeah, Edwards is a homer, but all play-by-play guys are homers.
At least Edwards is not hypocritical about it pretending to be neutral and objective.

He's also over the top, but he's over the top with every one, even other teams players.
I remember him getting excited by a Carey Price save, against the Bs, in the playoffs!

I can understand that, but for me having to watch the Bs most of the time on canadian networks (French and/or English), with their biased play-by-play men and analysts, his "over-the-top-ness" (not "less" ) doesn't bother me at all.

Yeah I think the dude just loves hockey. He's excited about both teams. Talks about both teams' players. Whereas the damn leafs network doesn't even know the names of other players.
